The Best Entertainment on the Planet

Entertainment can be hard to define because what one finds amusing another might not find remotely funny. For instance, while for some the definition of entertainment may be streaming on-demand shows on the DIRECTV App (those interested can search for ATT Bundles to learn more about this), for others, entertainment might mean going outdoors and enjoying the weather outside. What one cries with laughter at, someone else might stay as dry as a desert watching. So, in this article, we hope to cover entertainment across the board and so perhaps find something that might mean that you choose one destination over another so that the entertainment is what you are looking for as a tourist.

Roller Coaster (Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA)

Life can be a roller coaster ride. According to singer Ronan Keating, anyway. So, why would we want it on holiday as well, you might ask? Well, it is about that adrenaline rush that has us wanting more. The desire that the next theme park ride will take even more of our breath away, and the ride after that leave us with nothing left to fear.

So, which theme park offers us the rides that will provide the greatest thrills of all? If you are looking for a theme park that is reputed to provide tourists with the greatest in the world, then you need to look no further than Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virginia in the USA. Williamsburg is a historic site. The roller coasters of this famous park include the Alpengeist, Apollo’s Chariot, Griffon, the Loch Ness Monster, and Verbolten.

The Loch Ness Monster sounds fun. Anyone from Scotland in England will certainly feel at home riding it. In 1933, it was brought to the public’s attention that such a creature might exist, because there had been sightings of a long neck and humps protruding from the waters of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. Anyway, you can enjoy the ride version of the same name. It is not as if other famous names have not been used in America for publicity’s sake. The name Elvis Presley, for instance, is inescapable wherever you go in America.

Busch Gardens offers variety for a range of tourists in that it is divided into nine areas that represent different European countries. It has won awards for its atmosphere as well as the quality of its food. The rides and water slides, for added fun, are considered thrilling for kids and adults alike. The venue also puts on shows, runs tours, and has animal exhibits that will provide further entertainment for the tourist.

For alternative venues that provide entertainment by way of amusement and thrills, because they have theme parks offering rides, you cannot go far wrong by also checking out all the Disney resorts for further research into your kids’ happiness.

Grand Canyon, USA

The Grand Canyon is an awe-inspiring place to explore and it can grab our attention, as entertainment does, only in different ways to the above forms. Tourists can explore it on foot, using the river, or via the air. There is nothing like the view of the carved-out landscape to fascinate us for hours with its uniqueness. We all desire to see something different from the norm when we go on holiday. We want something to see that we can then talk about and entertain our guests with for hours. Tourists themselves are the greatest promoters of holidays.

In terms of the different modes of exploration associated with the Grand Canyon, you can hike along its rim, go rafting down the Colorado River (check out the details for Colorado Rafting here) or take a helicopter ride over it all. Each mode tends to offer a unique way to experience the Grand Canyon, so it’s important to choose the one that bests suits your interest. Additionally, you can also take a mule ride, which allows you to explore the canyon in a more leisurely manner.

Entertainment Capital of the World (Las Vegas)

When we think of the entertainment capitals of the world, there is only one. Las Vegas has been nicknamed this. Its entertainment spans a broad range of entertainment possibilities from shows to exhibits to museums to nightlife. There are casinos to enjoy a flutter in and pool parties where you can soak up the atmosphere.

Theme parks can also be found in Las Vegas. You can, for instance, on the Strip, spin on the largest of the world’s observation wheels. The UK’s smaller equivalent would be the Millennium Wheel which moves slow enough to allow someone to take in all the London sights from the air. Other rides in Vegas include the High Roller, appropriately named when thinking of the casinos where a high roller is someone that bets big. Also, there are the Fountains of Bellagio, which are just iconic, and the Venetian gondola to experience outside of Venice from an American perspective. Las Vegas is also known as “Sin City” if it is a sin to have fun. It is only an American label for it, though, because it is such a place of indulgence.

So, entertainment is easy to find, whether it means seeking out a thrill-seeking ride, taking in the range of entertainment that the Vegas Strip has to offer, or exploring the Grand Canyon in the way that excites us.
